Personally I believe that all foods are fantastic and useful in their own ways- but if you are trying to eat healthier in general and change your diet for the better-I recommend that you try these!

- Almond milk instead of Cows Milk - Almond milk has an average of 14 calories, 1 gram of fat, 1 gram of protein and 0 grams of sugar per 100 millilitres whereas Dairy milk has a average of 42 calories, 1 gram of fat, 3.4 grams of protein and 3.4 grams of sugar per 100 millilitres.
- Lightly-salted Homemade popcorn instead of High- sugar, shop- bought varieties.
- Reduced sugar and salt Baked beans instead of regular baked beans with hidden sugars.
- Lightly-salted popcorn instead of Crisps (Chips- if you are American;).
- Stevia sweeteners instead of Processed Sugars (such as High- fructose corn syrup, which seems to be in everything nowadays!)
- Low-calorie oil spray instead of Sunflower oil, Palm oil, Coconut oil etc (which you should use with caution), A god low-calorie oil spray is Frylight.
- Whole-wheat pasta instead of white pasta.
- Brown/Wholegrain rice instead of white rice.
- Low-fat Sunflower spread instead of Butter.A good low- fat Sunflower spread is Flora light.
- Lean(er) meats and fish such as Chicken,Salmon, Cod, Turkey etc. instead of Fattier meats such as Ground beef, T-bone steak, Pot roast etc
