SUPER FUDGY CHOCOLATE BROWNIES

These brownies are ooey, gooey, chocolatey and super fudgy!
These are guaranteed to impress at parties, bake sales or even picnics!



SUPER FUDGY CHOCOLATE BROWNIES

Serves: 10-12 people

Ingredients:

  • 175g Unsalted Butter/Margarine
  • 125g Soft-Brown sugar
  • 250g Plain Chocolate
  • 70g Self-Rising/Plain Flour
  • 4 Eggs (separated)
  • Vanilla Extract (optional)
  • Pinch of salt

Method:
  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius/356 Fahrenheit.
  2. Put the sugar, butter and vanilla extract in a pot.
  3. Chop the chocolate into chunks.
  4. Add in the chocolate.
  5. Melt the butter, sugar and chocolate until there are no lumps in the mixture.
  6. Meanwhile, whisk the four egg yolks.
  7. Once fully melted, remove the chocolate mixture from the heat.
  8. Leave this mixture to cool sightly.
  9. Gradually incorporate the whisked egg yolks.
  10. Put the egg whites in a bowl with a pinch of salt.
  11. Whisk until they form soft peaks.
  12. Gently fold the egg whites into the chocolate mixture.
  13. Transfer the mixture into a round baking tin.
  14. Bake for 30-45 minutes.
  15. Leave the Brownie 'cake' to cool before slicing it into separate brownies.
