Healthy Chickpea Tuna Sandwich

This meal, (with tuna), has approximately 43 grams of protein!

CHICKPEA TUNA SANDWICH RECIPE ( + VG OPTION)

Ingredients:
  • 2 Small Wholemeal Pitta Breads
  • 1 tin of tuna (drained) or 150g of chickpeas in total, if you're vegan or vegetarian)
  • 50g of Chickpeas
  • A pinch of Black pepper, to taste
Method:
  • Toast the pitta breads.
  • Mash the chickpeas in a bowl with a fork.
  • Now mix in the drained can of tuna and a pinch of black pepper.
  • Fill the pitta breads with the 'Chickpea Tuna' filling and serve with salad.
  • Enjoy!
