The British Tag

12.17.2018

These are my answers to Samantha Maria's 'The British Tag' questions! This was really fun to do, I'd really recommend it! I'm really proud of being British and I'm very fond of my country and it's culture!

Ham & cheese bagel that I got at the Bagel Factory in London.

1. How many cups of tea do you have a day & how many sugars?
  • Around 4! Sometimes 5! I love a cup of English breakfast tea with a few teaspoons of Natvia natural sweeter, a glug of Alpro unsweetened almond milk and a few squeezes of Bulk Powders' Sugar-free maple syrup mixed in.
  • I'm also partial to a cup of earl grey, but mainly what I'm at hotels or on holiday!
2. Favourite part of the roast?
  • Roast potatoes and stuffing drenched in gravy! So good!
3. Favourite dunking biscuit?
  • I actually rarely have biscuits with a cup of tea, but if I do, It'll be either a digestive, hobnob or a ginger nut!
4. Favourite quintessentially British pastime?
  • Having a 'spot of tea'!
5. Favourite word?
  • I don't know? Biscuit? Cuppa?
6. Cockney rhyme slang?
  • Rosie Lee - Tea
7. Favourite sweet?
  • I don't eat sweets but I like chocolate! Either 70% plus cocoa solids dark chocolate or a bit of dairy milk.
  • I also love 'animal biscuits' and Wagon wheels.
8. What would your pub be called?
  • I really don't know! Chips 'n' beans?
9. Favourite male and female British celebrity?
  • Tom Holland and Hayley Atwell.
10. Favourite shop/restaurant?
  • HomeSense & Nando's
11. What British song pops into your head?
  • Wham! - Last Christmas
12. Marmite?
  • Yes, but only in small amounts! I like it on pancakes (yes, pancakes) but I'm yet to try it on crumpets and toast. I prefer jam, butter and marmalade.
