Searching the Internet for healthy snacks that ACTUALLY TASTE GOOD can be extremely challenging (from experience! 😂). I thought I'd share 5 of my favourite, go-to healthy snacks that are filling, nutritious and of course delicious! I don't really tend to snack, but when I do - these are always my choices!


Popcorn is ALWAYS great for snacking on, whether you're at the cinema or on your commute to work. I love it because you choose a bag for any situation 😂. If you want it to be filling, you can choose a bag that has a lower amount of sugar than a supermarket's own brand or more 'indulgent' ranges. Some fantastic, filling popcorn options are Metcalfes Skinny Popcorn, Propercorn and Boom Chicka Pop for my American readers. They're all packed with fibre which not only keeps you full and energised but also keeps your blood sugar levels in check! If you're looking for a sweet cinema snack or a treat in general, you can go ahead and pick a bag of popcorn which fits that description also!


I love to snack on cherries, particularly at this time of year when they are in season! Cherries are a great source of fibre, (meaning that they'll keep you full and also help to balance your blood sugar levels), and vitamins and minerals including potassium, calcium, Vitamin A and folic acid. Cherries are also well known for their antioxidant properties.

Lotus Biscoff Biscuits

A not so healthy BUT ABSOLUTLEY DELICIOUS go-to snack of mine is a Biscoff Lotus biscuit or two with a cup of tea. They're incredibly tasty little biscuits, perfect for dunking in tea or coffee. Try them!


Apples are always my go-to snack of choice! Apples are usually a good source of Vitamin C. Apples are rich in fibre. This keeps you full, which can aid weight loss.

Options Hot Chocolate/Low-calorie hot chocolates 

Options hot chocolate is definitely a less nutritious snack option, but still is much lower in sugar and calories than most powdered hot chocolates on supermarket shelves today. It's obviously perfectly fine to have a normal hot chocolate as a treat, but if you'd like to have one or two most days of the week, I think Options hot chocolate is the way to go.


Along with being my favourite type of coffee, latte's can be a much healthier option for your daily, weekly etc coffee order. The reason why I emphasise "can be" here is that if you ask for sugar-free syrup, no sugar will be added to the latte. Skipping the extra sugar in the normal syrup will keep you fuller longer. My typical order is a sugar-free caramel latte, extra hot with PLENTY of chocolate sprinkles! 😉😂
